Cinco de Mayo

Miss Nielsen and Mrs. Flores' Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) classes at Spring Canyon Middle School celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a delightful cooking activity that had sixth and seventh graders donning chef hats and aprons. The students enthusiastically prepared quesadillas, demonstrating both culinary skills and cultural understanding. The hands-on experience not only allowed them to explore Mexican cuisine but also sparked lively discussions about the historical significance and traditions surrounding Cinco de Mayo. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and delicious food, showcasing the students' extraordinary talents and teamwork.Cinco de MayoCinco de MayoCinco de MayoCinco de MayoCinco de Mayo
