The Leadership class at Spring Canyon Middle School recently participated in an outstanding training session facilitated by Stand for Kind, focusing on fostering inclusivity within the school community. Through this program, students developed strategic plans to ensure every student at SCMS feels welcomed and valued. One innovative idea that emerged from their brainstorming sessions was a non-phone version of the popular lemon challenge, aimed at engaging students in a fun and interactive way without the reliance on technology. This fresh approach not only encourages creativity but also promotes face-to-face interactions among peers. We are eager to see the positive impact this dedicated group of young leaders will have on enhancing the sense of belonging for all students at Spring Canyon Middle School.
